Acoustic Wood Wool Board

Long wood fibres bound with magnesite into a rigid, open board reaching an NRC of up to 0.9. It is the toughest absorber we supply, and the one to use where panels will be kicked, leaned on or hosed down.

A school corridor, a sports hall, a plant room, a car park — anywhere a soft panel would be destroyed in a season — wood wool survives. It takes an impact without denting through.

The open fibre face can be sprayed in any colour without closing the surface, so it can be redecorated later along with the rest of the room.

At 25 mm it does useful work lower down the spectrum than the 15 mm board. In a hall with a boomy low end, specify up rather than adding area.
