Overview
Parametric Design
Sculpted wall and ceiling forms built from a stack of CNC-cut ribs. Each rib is a different profile, so the assembled surface moves.
These are made-to-drawing pieces. We take a 3D model or a surface definition, slice it into ribs at the spacing the material allows, nest the cutting on sheet, and number every piece so it assembles in one order on site.
Three substrates are available and they behave differently. Polyester absorbs, so a PET build does acoustic work as well as visual. MDF and acrylic are dense and reflective — those builds are diffusers, and need absorption elsewhere in the room to balance them.
Expect a longer lead time than a flat panel; the cutting alone runs to several days on a large ceiling. Plan the site sequence around it.
